Family Focus closure schedule for 2025-2026 (September 2025-August 2026)
Our childcare center (from infants thru School age care) will be closed on the following days.
- Labor Day (September 1, 2025)
- Indigenous People’s Day (Monday, October 13th, 2025, *All Staff Training Day)
- Veteran’s Day (Tuesday, November 11, 2025)
- Thanksgiving Day (Thursday, November 27, 2025)
- Day After Thanksgiving (Friday November 28, 2025)
- Christmas Eve Day* (Observed, December 24, 2025)
- Christmas Day (Observed, December 25, 2025)
- December Closure week- (December 24, 2025 to January 2nd, 2026)
- New Year’s Day- (Observed, January 1, 2026)
- Martin Luther King Day- (Monday, January 19, 2026)
- President’s Day- (Monday February 16, 2026)
- Professional Development Day- Friday, April 17, 2026
- Patriot’s Day- (Monday, April 20, 2026)
- Memorial Day- (Monday- May 25, 2026)
- Juneteenth Day- (Friday- June 19, 2026)
- Independence Day- (Observed, Friday, July 3, 2026)
*Family Focus will be closed for three staff development days, usually scheduled on Indigenous People’s Day, winter break, and the Friday before Patriot’s Day. We will also be closed during the winter holiday week. Tuition will still be charged for this week.
Additionally, the last day for children who will be entering kindergarten in the fall will be the week before school (Brunswick) starts so that the program can prepare for children who are entering the Prek program in the fall.
Please note: There is no reduction in fees for holidays, staff development days, vacations, or other absences.
